<Command>
<Name>hotlink enable</Name>
<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
Enable the hotlink test between the host and the exposure head. After the
hotlink test has been enabled, the hotlink test will automatically generate
hotlink data between the host and the exposure head. The hotlink test will
verify the hotlink cable between the host and the exposure head. The hotlink
test will typically run for an extended period of time while the user
periodically checks for errors detected by the hotlink test.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
Note that the hotlink test will typically detect a hotlink fault immediately
after the hotlink test is enabled. The hotlink test must be enabled by both
the host and the exposure head. As a result, there is a period during which
the hotlink will not be synchronized resulting in a hotlink fault.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
The "hotlink disable" command will disable the hotlink test, the "hotlink
reset" command will reset the status of the hotlink test and the "hotlink
status" command will display the status of the hotlink test.
